Don't ask me why. I've quit other films before. I have better movies in my collection. It's not like I paid MONEY for Open House.
And yet, as I said in the review, I keep watching it.
I mean, really. Is it that important?
Here's yet another example of how dull this thing is. The real estate agents know their being targeted, so now their going to empty houses in pairs. One pair, a man and a woman, are finishing off looking at a new house. The man gets paged on his beeper; it's his wife having a baby. He wants to go call, but he can't leave his partner alone...
"Go on," she says, "I'll be fine."
Uh huh.
Sure.
I doubt there was an audience member watching who believed that.
And if they did, I've got a couple of bridges in New York to sell them.
Practically brand new.
We cut to other business (our hero finishing up at work, as I recall it), then we cut back to find our real estate agent hung inside the house. We watch her sway gently. Maybe we're supposed to reflect on how short life is. Or perhaps we're supposed to be sterilized with terror, horror, and surprise over this turn of events.
Who knows.
Who cares.
I suppose I could just fast forward through the rest of it. That's how I watched Cathy's Curse. Be just as thrilling...

Can't quite figure out which of IMDB's 16 listed titles you're watching...I gather it isn't the musical, though.
D'OH! Sorry about that. Link's fixed.
Not that you really want to know... I mean, it's pretty bad...
