Hell Yeah! Do it! Do it!

I seem to be making up for time not yet lost with three posts today. And maybe more: who knows?

Whatever the day may or may not bring is not the point of this thread. While surfing, I caught sight of this article from beaucoupKevin[dot]com. While the whole article is rather droll, I especially liked the penultimate sentence:
Then I would kick Green Arrow in the throat.
My instant response was... well, the title of this post.

I have no idea what Green Arrow ever did to me to deserve this reaction. Maybe it's some deep, deep repressed memory. Maybe he stole a Tangy Taffy from me, or gave a political rant I couldn't crawl away from. Maybe it's that damn yellow arrow car of his.

Whatever the case, I seem to want grievous physical harm to befall him.

Interesting.

Wonder if I would feel the same way about a blatant knock-off of Spider-man as I do a blatant knock off of Batman?

It's the annoying sidekicks that get me.

Well that goes without saying... :-)

I think it's the beard. Put any hero in a little beard like GA has, and one's (primordial) reaction is, Damn, Batman spends his free time honing his skills, Superman coming up with new powers...but Green Arrow spends hours in front of the mirror, trimming that little beard, then looking this way and that until he has it just perfect.

Kick him one for me.

I sure don't have the same reaction to Hawkeye.
